Currently, we have two elders of the Sanctuary who are ordained as ministers, Andy Solecki and Grace Rose.
The multi-faith aspect of our beliefs, enables services to be created, as you would wish them to be, incorporating your personal belief pathway.
Wedding blessings and Hand-Fasting services. What we suggest is that you have your ‘legal’ ceremony if you wish to have one at a registry office, and then your special service can be held where you wish, which can be designed with your personal beliefs at the foundation of the ceremony.
Andy also offers services as a funeral celebrant and will assist you though through that difficult time. A funeral celebrant is someone qualified to host and officiate funeral services. As well as conducting the funeral itself, celebrants are involved in planning the order of service, music, writing the eulogy and creating a meaningful service for the person who has died.
You may also want to make decisions about what happens after you die, including planning your own funeral. Planning your own funeral is becoming more common and can relieve family and friends of difficult decisions at a stressful time. Not everyone wants to do this. But having conversations and planning ahead can help people close to you celebrate your life in a meaningful way.
